Danielle Burtis began her Taekwondo journey at the National Taekwondo Institute in Minnesota, where she earned her black belt and built a strong foundation in discipline and commitment. She later brought her experience and work ethic to Maka’s Taekwondo, joining our school in early 2023.

Homeschooled and then graduating from USF with a degree in English, Danielle balances her martial arts background with her merchandiser position at Scheels. Her work directly supports store presentation and customer engagement, giving her hands-on experience in marketing, organization, and visual strategy.

In addition to her professional and martial arts pursuits, Danielle proudly serves as a member of the National Guard, reflecting her dedication to service, responsibility, and leadership. She brings focus, reliability, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything she does.
